Identity for 'Writings On Walls' - WOW.
A graphic arts & design exhibition that goes beyond the concept of any ordinary exposition.

WOW featured artistic as well as applied design by a new breed of contemporary artists, whose roots are in non-traditional media like graffiti, tattoos, comics and street culture. Many of whom have found commercial success designing for advertising and product packaging. For these artists, their style is their signature, lending cachet to their work for brands.

Wall-sized paintings showcased a veritable who’s-who of international graphic design. Despite the similarity in their approach to art-making, each artist has a distinct graphic style. The exhibition continued in the design centre with the artists’ applied designs in decorative arts and commercial products. Visitors could pick up books, t-shirts and other artist-designed items in the C-Mine gift shop.

The exhibition featured BROSMIND (SP), Case Studyo - Artist Series (BE), Cool Shit (SP), Craig & Karl (US/UK), Hell'o (BE), Hungry Castle (SP), Jean Jullien (FR), Mcbess (FR), Mike Perry (US), Studio Moross (UK), The Dudes Factory (D), Toykyo (BE), Ilk (FR), Tyrsa (FR).
Curated by Alley Gallery at C-Mine Genk.
