Pukkelpop has always occupied a distinct place in the festival landscape: independent in spirit, outspoken in character and unafraid to challenge convention. That attitude formed the foundation of this year’s design direction. Drawing from classic counterculture references, we translated analogue rebellion into a contemporary visual system designed for today’s screens.
Loud, layered and built to disrupt
The 2025 edition acts as a culmination of the graphic groundwork laid in previous years. Past visual codes collide and erupt, forming a concentrated burst of colour, texture, and attitude.
Neon gradients meet pixelated textures. Glitch distortions disrupt clean compositions. Layered collages create rhythm and tension. The result is a graphic language that feels loud, free, unapologetic and expressive enough to capture the festival's energy while remaining instantly recognisable across every application.

At first glance, the identity leans fully into graphic excess—layers of gradients, textures, glitches and fragments colliding in high-energy compositions. But beneath the intensity lies a deliberate structure. Moments of visual rest are built into the system, allowing typography and key information to cut through the noise. By balancing overload with clarity, the design maintains its disruptive attitude while ensuring the message always lands where it needs to.
