ASFALT is a multi-day urban festival for street culture, from free runners, street artists and BMXers to skaters, rappers and basketball players.⁠ ⁠ For its visual identity, Ghent-based multidisciplinary design studio TOYKYO decided to work with a clear, yet bold, colour-blocking system. This system seamlessly combines with imagery and videos of the festival’s sporting disciplines. Its flexibility allows it to easily adapt to different sizes, allowing the motion design to flourish within its simplicity.
